Clothing Drive 2025

This winter, we will be launching a Community Winter Clothing Drive in partnership with Salvation Army Belkin House. As temperatures drop, warm clothing becomes more than comfort; it becomes safety. . The goal of this project is to collect essential winter items for those who need them most, ensuring our community members stay warm and protected during the coldest months of the year.

What Is Needed:

  • Winter jackets and coats

  • Hoodies, sweaters, and sweatpants

  • Gloves, hats, and scarves

  • Warm socks and winter footwear

  • Blankets and cold-weather essentials
(All items can be gently used or new.)

Collection Dates

We will be collecting winter clothing donations from December 8th to December 27th. All items will be sorted and delivered to Salvation Army Belkin House on December 29th. If you have any clothing you would like to contribute, please reach out to me at ansalmanvi@gmail.com

Why This Matters

Winter is especially challenging for individuals experiencing homelessness or unstable housing. Homelessness in Vancouver continues to rise, and community-driven initiatives play a crucial role in filling the gaps. By donating warm items, we can help ensure that more people stay protected during winter and remind them that their community cares.
