2020/2021

In 2020/2021, we raised over $1,000 to support our Care Package Project. With those funds, we purchased blankets, hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, socks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, chapstick, masks, and body lotion. A total of 32 care packages were created—16 donated to the Salvation Army Belkin House and 16 to Mission Possible. We are grateful for the generosity that made this project possible and for the community that continues to support our mission.

2022

This year, we decided to do something different and focus on children in need. Instead of care packages, we organized a holiday toy drive for BC Children’s Hospital. With the incredible generosity of our community, we collected donations and gifts that helped make the holiday season brighter for kids receiving care. With the help of the donors, together, we were able to bring joy, play, and comfort to children and their families during a time when they needed it most.

2024

In 2024, we returned to our roots with a holiday care package donation drive. This time, the packages were donated to both the Salvation Army Belkin House and the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre. With the support of my community, we raised around $825 and received multiple bags of clothing. These contributions went toward creating care packages filled with toiletries, warm clothing, and blankets, helping bring comfort to those in need during the winter season.
